Dreams are meant to be lived...
...and I've come a long way to actually "get there".
My dream to find someone who would really understand me and love me for who I am, was something I almost gave up on.
After some challenging relationships, I felt there was no-one that really fit my lifestyle or values.
I even started to believe that true love and finding your soulmate wasn't going to happen for me.
But it did...
Almost 10 years ago I found him:

An app to find my dream partner
Both new to online dating, but willing to get out of our comfort zones.
The Tinder match quickly turned into a love story, when TJ took a chance and booked a flight from Mallorca to Ibiza to meet me.
Dating between 2 islands
Back and forth between Mallorca & Ibiza
After 4 months of dating and a trip to meet the family, we decided to move in together.
TJ quit his career in the Luxury Yachting Industry and moved in with me on Ibiza.
Our first move abroad
From Ibiza to The Netherlands
TJ joined my Events & Incentives Agency on Ibiza and that summer we got to work together for the first time.
We both had so much fun and felt like we wanted to take that experience on the road. Set up something together somewhere new for both of us.
So at the end of that season, we sold the stuff we didn't really need anymore to start traveling lighter.
Going within
Our spiritual journey together
After months of trying to find our groove in The Netherlands, we came to the conclusion we needed to first reset ourselves.
The dream was to start a family together, but we first needed to align what we wanted that to look like exactly.
The dream to create our own little family
From the moment we met at the airport of Ibiza, we both felt this was it! There was a deeper knowing that we were meant to be together and to create our own little family.
Everything aligned and after our spiritual journey together, we were both ready to become parents.
The actual road it took to become that family and to continue to grow every day together, is something I share every now and then in our family diary and newsletters.
Having the dream of becoming parents one day, is obviously a lot different from the actual life changes that it takes to make that a reality.
There have been many challenges in this adventure, but we somehow always find our way back to each other. To make sure we stay connected as a family, we have created our own rituals and reminders.
I shared some of them in my book "Issues & Tissues" and in the Esther Ibiza Club (the app).
