One step at a time...

One step at a time...

For years I've been searching for the perfect moment to really start working with some of the practices that I've developed for myself to get more clarity on what's most important in my life.

I've been struggling for a very long time with the right moment, the right set up and the right location, which was all part of my own healing process. Somehow I had this idea that things would go faster if I would speed things up by working on several things at the same time, but that never really turned out to be very effective to be honest. Like many of us, I believed that it's possible to multitask and accomplish several things at the same time, so I kept combining as many dreams, ideas and wishes as possible.

I wanted to be that loving wife, caring mother, thoughtful friend and family member all at once and at the same time build my own business. Well, let me tell you that this is one of the hardest lessons I've had to learn in life, because you know what? You just can not do it all at the same time! It's too difficult to multitask and not only for men, like the saying always suggests, but also for women. The belief we can do it all, is just not true! You need to become aware of the sacrifices that you make when you try to do it all at once, because it damages your wellbeing.

To become aware of my own priorities in life and work on the things that made me feel good and heal myself at the same time, I started writing. This helped me to understand what I needed to change in my life and what I wanted for myself to become a reality, instead of a dream that one day things would magically be different.

I understood that it was my strength to heal myself with my words, but I also discovered the healing power of my words for others. Whenever I shared my life lessons or experiences with other people, they would let me know afterwards how much lighter and better they felt after talking with me or reading whatever I had shared with them. This encouraged me to start writing a book that would not only heal myself, but could also help other people heal the issues they were running into in their lives.

Finishing my book "Issues & Tissues" has been a dream come true to be honest, because it took a lot of effort from myself and my family to create the time and the space to do so. But the work that comes with every single dream that someone is trying to chase, is something we tend to forget or we try to skip it as much as we can. The change we would all like to see in our lives comes with a lot of hard work and commitment, but not everyone is ready to do so. I know that my book can help you figure out the steps you need to take, but ultimately you still need to do all the work and you need to keep taking the necessary steps.

You can imagine how grateful I am today when I receive messages from people who've read my book and have shared with me the steps they've been taking to get to where they are today. Sometimes they share their struggles, other times they share their wins, which for me is what life is truly all about!

Just recently two of my dear friends saw a very long cherished dream come true as well, which just really makes my heart sing to be honest. I know how hard they've both worked to get to where they are today and I'm so proud of them for sticking to their belief in themselves and for making the challenges all worth it! Because let's be honest here for a second.... these dreams never come without struggle off course!

One of them wanted to become a mom for a very long time, but never seemed to get pregnant and almost lost faith in her ability to do so all by herself.... Until she started to change her priorities in her life and got very focused on what she needed to do to be ready to become a mother.

The other dear friend also saw a very long cherished dream become a reality: she made it her priority to become financially independent and has just bought her very own house together with the love of her life. In todays market this seemed almost impossible at the time, but she kept believing and kept taking the steps necessary to get to where she is today.

And really every dream you see for yourself could become a reality, if you're willing to take the necessary steps...

So that's where I believe I can help you...

I've been there, multiple times to be honest, so I know how hard it is to turn your dreams into a reality, but you don't have to do it alone...

Taking ONE STEP AT A TIME is my new mantra and now I'm ready to show others what it can do to your life as well. I know it seems very simple, really something anyone could do on their own, but somehow most of us struggle with this concept E-V-E-R-Y single day.

This is the reason I've decided to create a space where people can practice this difficult step in turning your dreams into a reality. The hard part of the process is admitting the things that you know you need to change, because it requires you to be vulnerable and honest with yourself and others. This is very uncomfortable for all of us and not something we like to share or do in public, so I felt it was time for a safe space where dreams can be shared and where they can be slowly built into real things.

Whatever your dream might be, just know that you don't have to do it alone! Taking one step at a time will slowly turn dreams into reality and I'm here to support you along the way!

Stay tuned for more updates on the location soon!

Lots of love,

Esther
